Abstract
In order to improve the problems such as reduction measures that did not reflect the field conditions and uniform contents as project characteristics and regionality were not considered when writing the environment impact assessment, we analyzed the environment impact factors and reduction measures of each project classification, shown in 25 environment impact assessment for Gwangju and Jeonnam regions, and also conducted a survey with professionals. The environment impact of development projects can be different in accordance with not only the target areas, but also characteristics of surrounding areas. Based on such results, this study classified its type on the basis of target areas, and the type of land use and topographic slope of surrounding areas that would have lots of influence on environment impact factors. The type of land use was divided into urban area, mountain area, waterside area and rural area while the topographic slope is divided into dead level, slope topography and mixed topography(dead level+slope topography). Regarding reduction measures, it would be possible to actively cope with the influence of development projects by strengthening the connection between the target areas and surroundings through suggesting the contents suitable for characteristics of each type. Though this study suggested the improvement of the evaluation index regarding reduction measures of each type, and a classification method of the target projects of environment impact evaluation, we have insufficient existing similar researches which are even limited to Jeonnam & Gwangju regions for five years. It would be necessary to discuss more various projects and also to have additional researches on evaluation index in the future.
KeyWords: Environment impact factors, Evaluation index, Topographic slope, Type of land use
