거주 및 가족 환경에 따른 초등학생의 농업에 대한 이해도 비교 연구

Abstract
This study was conducted to know the agricultural literacy of elementary school students living in Jinju, Namhae, Hadong, Sancheong, and Uiryeong in Gyeongsangnam-do. The farming of the students’ parents was not varied by the students’ grade, but varied by their living region. Parents of students with the highest number of farming was Sanchung(31.7%), followed by the Uiryeong(22.1%), Namhae (15.7%), Hadong(14.6%), and Jinju(10.1 %). The parents’farming was not varied by students’gender. The parents’preference about gardening was not varied by the students’grade, but it varied by region. Sanchung showed the highest parents’preference about gardening, followed by Hadong, Uiryeong, Jinju, and Namhae in order. Female students’parents showed higher interest about gardening than male students’parents. According to the region, there was no difference in the parents’interest about gardening. The students’ agricultural literacy was varied by their grade. It went up by grade level. It also varied by region, the students in Jinju and Hadong area showed higher agricultural literacy. There was no difference in agricultural literacy by the students’ gender, but there was difference by their region(Up/Myun/Dong). The students living in metropolitan areas(Dong) showed higher agricultural literacy than those living in rural areas. It showed that the parents’farming didn’t affect the students’agricultural literacy, but rather the parents’interest about gardening affected the students’agricultural literacy. It was showed that the more the parents had interest about gardening, the higher agricultural literacy students had.
