Journal of People, Plants, and Environment uses double blind review, which means that both the reviewer and the author are unaware of each others’ identity to ensure fair review. Also, three professional experts in the same field as peer reviewers are invited to conduct a review.

Please note that the turnaround timelines in the following flowchart are our guidelines. Each decision making process may and will vary depending on a number of factors. The average times of submission to final decision in 2019 were 25 days in the fast track submission and 48 days in the regular track submission.
