Abstract
This study was carried out to examine the effects on cut flower growth and white rust occurrence in chrysanthemum ‘Baekma’, ‘Orange ND’, and ‘Lemon ND’. The stem diameter and fresh weight of cut flower was better in 2× of standard fertilization than the others in standard chrysanthemum ‘Baekma’. And, the occurrence rate, No. of infected leaves, and No. of lesions was smaller in 2× of standard fertilization than the 1/2× treatment of standard fertilization at 30 days and 110 days after planting. In spray chrysanthemun ‘Orange ND’, the cut flower growth such as the cut flower length, stem diameter, and flower width, significantly increases in 2× of standard fertilization. Also, the highest occurrence rate of 48.9% and the most infected leaves was observed in 1/2× treatment of standard fertilization at 110 days after planting. The occurrence rate of white rust lowered in 2× of standard fertilization. In spray chrysanthemun ‘Lemon ND’, the the No. of leaves and flower width was increases in 2× of standard fertilization, but, occurrence rate of white rust by fertilization level was no difference at 110 days after planting.
KeyWords: ‘Baekma’, Dendranthema grandiflorum, ‘Lemon ND’, ‘Orange ND’, Puccinia horiana
