| Abstract |
|
The request and the sensitive reaction of the indoor space users have important influence on indoor greening compared to outdoor greening. Therefore, the focus of this study is to clarify the standard types of indoor greening on behalf of plant selection, spatial deployment, and design. The study was conducted by both users preference and trend survey of different working indoor spaces. Most surveyed working spaces have indoor plant with 90.4%, the plants are placed in the main working place and in entrance. The main forms of plant deployment were planter, which indicates the preferable form of indoor greening. Among the space types, indoor greening was most favored in the main working space and resting space. The indoor greening was conducted in 2~3 places and 10% to 20% of the floor area on average besides wall greening. The planter were covered with woody materials and additionally with natural stone and lighting. As for the applied plants, 2~3 plant species were applied for their foliage and flowers. The favorable plant types were ones with bright green leaves and 20~50㎝ size, and abundant plant volume. |
