| Abstract |
|
The study investigated the recognition on the efficacy of rehabilitation programs and the actual conditions of horticultural therapy programs at Seoul Day Care centers. Seoul type day care centers recognizes that the efficacy of music therapy was the best, and horticultural, art, others, and remembrance therapy was less effective in sequential. But, The frequency of rehabilitation programs in Seoul type day care center was art therapy, music therapy, the other therapies, horticultural therapy, and remembrance therapy. And, there were differences between providing status and recognition of proper level. For example, decoration activities like a flower composition were provided the most, but the respondents answered that planting and gardening is the most necessary program. The programs were provided the most in program rooms, but the respondents answered that gardens or fields are the most necessary place. The cost of materials mainly was under 3,500 won, but they responded that under 5,000 won is proper. Horticultural therapy differs between Kangnam and Kangbook(x²=9.087**, p=0.003). However, Seoul’s subsidy was not related(x²=3.749, p=0.053). Satisfaction was low on budget of horticultural therapy in securing material cost, so they responded that subsidy is the most necessary to invigorate the therapy. |
